Today Lauren spotted a Black Phoebe in our backyard, which is possibly the cutest little fat bird I’ve ever seen.
I had to paint one.

I felt like doing a quick Michael Scott portrait tonight.
I have to say, while I am really bummed that Steve left the show, I really love how they wrote him off. Michael Scott will be missed.

Here is the official poster for a documentary that is coming out soon called Beauty Day. It’s the story of Ralph Zavadil who was the precursor to Jackass. I was lucky enough to see the movie early and I loved it. I’m really stoked I got to do the poster for it.
For more information on the movie, go to beautydaydocumentary.com/

Here is my piece for tonight’s “Required Reading” show at Gallery1988. I’m really excited about how it turned out, and it’s the first time I’ve done a piece that is a weird size, but I love how it looks in person.
It’s an 8.25”x19.75” giclee, limited to 100.

There is a “Muppetize” yourself activity that just started at Apedogs.com and I had to try it out, so here is my little Muppet Mike doodle.

This is my piece for the upcoming “Inle” show curated by Greg “Craola” Simkins.. The show is over 100 artists interpreting the Black Rabbit of Inle from “Watership Down”.
The show opens March 11th at Gallery 1988 on Melrose. There is over 100 artists in the show, and I think it’s going to be incredible so make sure you check it out!
This will be available as a print, along with 1 embellished piece that I will be painting over.
